Tallest free-standing structure in Nevada
The tallest tower on this side of the Mississippi is the Stratosphere Tower in Las Vegas. This amazing structure is the tallest observation tower in the United
States and is more than twice the height of any other building in
Nevada. The massive structure can be seen from just about anywhere in the Las Vegas valley. Notice the observation decks which offer a spectacular 360 degree view of Las Vegas that never gets boring or old.
This structure was under construction for many years as I was growing up. The
top capsule was added very quickly at the completion of the lengthy construction.
You can see this tower from wherever you're at in the Las Vegas valley and even from
behind some of the surrounding mountains.

Anyone who plans on visiting Las Vegas in the future should visit this Las Vegas landmark while they're here. Just make sure you go all the way to the top so you'll have something to remember in the future.
