Can you tell me about the .UIF file extension?
UIF stands for Universal Image Format. This is a compressed image file that is a backup of a complete CD/DVD. UIF can contain the complete data of CD/DVD just like a more familiar file extension that's called .ISO which is also a file extension for creating complete CD/DVD images. The main advantage for using UIF is the size of image file, which can be rather small when compared to an .ISO file.
The UIF file extension can be opened up with a program called
MagicISO
.
