The Topshot table tennis blog was started in late 2006 with the objective of being one of the most unique table tennis and ping pong blogs on the Internet. Entries have been about everything from reviews on other creative table tennis websites, to funny table tennis videos, to funny pictures of table tennis players.
Worthy Topshot Table Tennis accomplishments
The Topshot Table Tennis blog is quietly resting inside of the DMOZ directory’s table tennis section. DMOZ is the home of the ODP (Open Directory Project), which is the largest, most comprehensive directory of information on the web that’s human-edited by an elite community of volunteers.
Getting the Topshot table tennis blog listed in the directory is a great accomplishment for us (Topshot and myself). There aren’t very many table tennis blogs listed under the table tennis personal pages category over at DMOZ. To be exact, I think there’s 11 sites listed there at the time of this post.
DMOZ is known for culling out the bad and useless and keeping only the best content. Just as the Oxford English dictionary became the definitive word on words around the globe because of volunteers, DMOZ wants to follow the same path with the ODP.
